Terms, Conditions & Liability Release
Please review tournament policies, medical authorization guidelines, and participant risk acknowledgment.
1 Medical Authorization & Emergency Treatment
The registered competitor (or their parent/legal guardian if under 18) grants full power and authority to tournament directors, head referees, event medical staff, and certified athletic trainers to evaluate and administer emergency medical care or first aid treatment, subject to licensed professional advice.
Treatment may be initiated regardless of whether immediate telephone contact with emergency contact individuals has been established. This medical release becomes active upon registration and persists throughout all championship ceremonies and division competition.
2 Assumption of Athletic Responsibilities & Risk
Martial arts tournaments involve active physical competition, dynamic motion, and full-speed technique execution. Bruises, scratches, sprains, joint strains, bone fractures, dental trauma, and sports concussions are inherent sporting possibilities. Competitors understand and assume all physical risks associated with participation.
By entering this tournament, participants, guardians, and instructors completely release and hold harmless Martial Arts America LLC, the All Valley Martial Arts Championship committee, ring judges, officiating referees, volunteers, facility property owners, and fellow competitors from all liability or damages, except when solely and intentionally caused by criminal gross misconduct.
3 Registration, Entry Deadlines & Refund Rules
Entry fees guarantee bracket inclusion, division referee staffing, and official commemorative awards. Because brackets are balanced and rings scheduled upon registration closure, entry fees are non-refundable once published, barring a verified written medical physician exclusion submitted prior to tournament ring calls.
